Maximum of 5 Residents per Poster:
To ensure fairness and meaningful contribution, no more than five residents should be listed as authors on a single poster.
Contribution-Based Authorship:
Only residents who actively contributed to the project (e.g., literature review, data analysis, writing) should be included.
Simply being involved in the patient’s care (e.g., writing a note or seeing the patient once) does not qualify for authorship.
Authorship Accountability Form(Upcoming):
A form will be introduced requiring each listed author to specify their individual contributions to the poster. This will help maintain transparency and academic integrity.
Faculty Authorship:
The primary supervising attending and any faculty who significantly contributed to the project should be included. This will be discussed further in faculty meetings.
